Sellers mistakenly continue to think of the property as "their home" and turn a blind eye to issues that may prevent a buyer from seeing it as their future dream home. Emotional ties to your "home" need to be cut as soon as you decide to sell. An objective opinion is needed to determine the property's readiness for the current real estate market and today's buyer. Do pack at least one-third to one-half of the clothing in the closets.
